Outlast 2: How to Get Through the Cornfield

How to Get Through the Cornfield in Outlast 2

Recommended Videos

One of the scariest areas in Outlast 2 is the cornfield you find yourself navigating fairly early on. It’s full of enemies with flashlights, tons of dead ends, and a lot of points where you can easily be surrounded. It’s also a very confusing area since there’s no map in the game and you’ll pretty much have to guess which direction to run in if you’re going to survive. Don’t worry, though. We’ve navigated this frustrating area to help you get through quickly and safely.

If you look up, you’ll see the top of a windmill at the center of the cornfield. Head towards it. It sits in an open area with some bandages and a battery at its base if you really need them, but avoid the flashlights from enemies. Look around until you see a barn with light coming out of it. You’ll want to head to the right of that, keeping close to the fence. Eventually, you’ll reach large wooden doors with a makeshift ramp next to it. Run up the ramp and hop over the wooden doors to finally escape the cornfields. No more blind running.

That’s all you need to know to get through the cornfield in Outlast 2. For more on Outlast 2, make sure to check out our wiki.
