How to Fix the Bus and Head to Calico Desert in Stardew Valley

Recommended Videos

Stardew Valley is the game that never ends. No, seriously. As such, there are of course a bunch of hidden areas that you have no idea you can reach when you first start off on your farming adventure. One such place is Calico Desert.

That’s right, there’s a whole desert area to explore in the game! How do you reach it, though? By fixing the bus that broke down when you first rode into town. This is part of one of the Community Center bundles. You’ll need to buy all of the Vault bundles, which total out to 42,500 coins. Once you do, the little alien Junimos will band together and fix the bus as well as the road to Calico Desert.

Pam will become the town’s bus driver and you can buy tickets for 500 coins at the machine next to the bus stop. Hop on the bus at 5:00 PM and you’ll be on your way to a whole new world complete with a new villager to meet, new forageable items, and new fish to catch.
