Probably, Depends How Much You Like 4K
While your TV is capable of displaying the all-important 4K resolution, it doesn’t have HDR technology. This isn’t a complete dealbreaker for you picking up an Xbox One X, but it will hinder the picture quality simply because the range of colors and the contrast will be limited.
It’s not the end of the world, though. The jump from 1080p to 4K is still very much noticeable. Plus, you’ll still get the smaller improvements such as faster load times and smoother framerates that the Xbox One X’s extra power also provides.
Plus, the One X’s UHD blu-ray player is a sweet little bonus feature for when you want to take a break from games. While it’s nothing new to owners of last year’s One S, it sure is to those with a 4K TV and an original Xbox One, or those who have yet to become a part of the Xbox family.
