XBOX ONE Q2
After being pushed back from last year, Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently slated for release in Q2 of 2018. Nominated for the most anticipated game award at both the 2016 and 2017 Game Awards, it’s safe to say that there’s a fair bit of hype for this Western-themed open world game. Not only is it due to feature a great single-player campaign, but also a robust multiplayer experience to boot. Xbox One X owners are in for a real treat as Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to truly show off the graphical capabilities of the system with full 4k support.
Another game that has been pushed back to Q2 of 2018 is the Xbox One exclusive Crackdown 3. One of Crackdown 3’s biggest features is its “100 percent destructible environments.” It’s a feature that is so intense that the Xbox One cannot process it alone, and relies on utilizing the power of the Microsoft Cloud. Fans of sandbox games will be well taken care of in Q2 of 2018.
I this isn’t your thing, there are a couple of retro games being brought to Xbox One that may tickle your fancy. In May, the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection is bringing an assortment of different versions of Street Fighter 1, 2 and 3 to Xbox One for the first time. Alternatively, there’s the remake of 1994’s critically acclaimed System Shock that is going to be receiving a remake for Xbox One next year.
