Arguably the biggest release the Xbox One saw in May 2018 was Undead Labs’ State of Decay 2. Following on from its predecessor, the game tasks players with growing a community of survivors in a zombie apocalypse. You’ll need to head out and scavenge for resources, acquire outposts, build facilities at your home base to help with your mission, and of course, kill some zombies!

State of Decay 2’s 1000 Gamerscore is made up of 62 achievements, which may sound like a lot, but once you settle into the game’s fairly simple gameplay loop, you’ll start popping these left, right, and center. After beating the game just once, we were able to clear almost all of the achievements on offer. It’s worth noting that there are definitely some which will require you to play through multiple times, but this can be bypassed a little bit with the correct method. Either way, earning achievements in State of Decay 2 was natural and seldom left us having to go out our way to get them, so it’s definitely worth checking out if you want equal parts easy achievements and gory zombie takedowns.
