Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Mega Battle (January 2017 TBA)

Just a day after fans got their first look at the upcoming movie, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Mega Battle was announced with a January 2017 release date. Players will fight their way through a number of levels, with dialogue, cutscenes, and enemies all been pulled from the first two seasons of the TV show.

Of course, with this being a beat ’em up, players will be able to level up their characters and unlock badass new abilities to help them fight the forces of evil. Combos can be pulled off by combining a variety of light, heavy, and projectile attacks and even better, the game has a four-player co-op mode, too. Unfortunately, this video game doesn’t have a set release date for Xbox One just yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated as and when a date is finally nailed down.

Abzu (January 2017 TBA)

abzu, indie

Prior to its release on the PS4 earlier this year, Abzu was deemed the spiritual successor to the critically-acclaimed indie darling, Journey. While Abzu didn’t quite deliver on the same scale, it was an enjoyable adventure deep underwater all the same. Finally, Abzu is making its way to the Xbox One sometime in January.

Players assume the role of a deep-sea diver all on their lonesome as they explore some strange goings on deep below the surface. Abzu is one of those titles that is better experienced than read about, and so we’ll leave it there. If you do want to find out more about the video game, though, you can check out our review here.
