Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart – Everwild
While Sony has an established arsenal of first-party studios doing its bidding, each with its own smash-hit series to work on, Microsoft’s stable of first-party studios is still settling in and finding its feet.
Insomniac Games is working on Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, a gorgeous, animated action-platformer that’s kid friendly and, if its anything like its PS4 predecessor, is sure to offer up some fantastic, compelling gameplay.
While Rare’s last project was Sea of Thieves, the developer has decided to put the high seas behind them and focus on a beautiful fantasy world that players will get to explore in Everwild.
Originally announced at XO19, Everwild is set to have players “experience new ways to play in a natural and magical world.” What that means, nobody exactly knows, but we’re pretty sure we’re going to see a little bit more on Thursday.
