One of the most exciting aspects for many console players regarding Skyrim: Special Edition is the inclusion of mod support. While it was originally announced that the PS4 version would not have mod support, it has now been confirmed that both the Xbox One and PS4 versions will get some form of mod support when the game releases.

Mods bring a whole batch of new content to Skyrim. Whether it’s further refining and tweaking the visuals, adding in cool new weapons to the game, or even entire new quest lines, the possibilities are near-endless when it comes to mods. It’s important to note, however, that if you’re playing on PS4, there are some limitations to what you’ll be able to do. Still, we can’t wait to start experimenting all the same.
