There’s something about playing together with a friend in the same room that can’t be replicated online. A Way Out is one of those games that begs to be played locally on a couch with someone else (although there is an online mode as well).

A Way Out is already a contender for the best co-op experience of this year and we’re only a quarter of the way through the year. It follows the story of Leo and Vincent, two men in prison for a crime they didn’t commit, who couldn’t be more different from each other. They have completely different motivations and personalities, but they are forced to work together if they ever want to make it out prison and see the outside world again.

There’s not a lot of games out there like A Way Out, and if you have a friend to play through it with and want to experience a great co-op game and story together, it’s a must try.
