Assassin’s Creed games have always featured stunningly detailed open world urban environments, and Syndicate’s Victorian London setting is the largest city ever seen in the series.

Of course, in terms of actual map scale, in comparison to the earlier Black Flag, Syndicate is tiny.

In fact, Black Flag is almost one hundred times larger in terms of actual volume.

But because London is so incredibly detailed, and due to the fact that it’s dense buildings offer significantly more verticality than any of the Carribean structures, its open world map still feels huge.

Syndicate continued the Assassins’ Creed series’ trend of massive open worlds packed with things to do.
