The Supply Drop Is One Hell of a Weapon
Supply Drops in Metal Gear Solid V: TPP are extremely useful when out in the field. They can get you ammo, weapons, and items when you find yourself in a pinch which may happen quite often if you’re the type to find yourself jumping into battle guns blazing. But aside from keeping you well stocked in all the latest stealth infiltration gear, they can serve as a rather potent knockout agent.
Mark an enemy soldier and call in a supply drop to witness a grown man getting knocked out in the most embarrassing way. It’s even useful against much stronger opponents. Take a look at Quiet, for instance. She’s a tough sniper who won’t hesitate to kill anyone trying to get too close. But, with the use of your handy dandy Supply Drops you can take her out in two hits without ever batting an eyelash.
It isn’t free, so don’t expect to use it on every single soldier out there; unless, of course, you’re okay with grinding out some GMP. But, it is a fun way to interact with enemies in Metal Gear Solid V: TPP, as well as a means to some very difficult ends.
