If done successfully (by holding the right trigger and back+strong or forward+strong), you’re going to look at completely disrupting your opponent and opening up a perfect chance to utilize a juggle combo.
This also creates the perfect chance to launch someone through the many stage transitions. If you have them backed into a corner and feel a wakeup attack coming, hit that back+strong and gaze upon the glorious cinematic carnage.
