Keep Some Exotics Secret
Destiny 2’s Corridors of Time puzzle was a spectacle and a half. These are the kind of moments that will stick with the community forever. However, the reward spoiled the climatic moment of when players finally reached the end of the maze for the first time.
Bastion is a cool weapon that is solid in both PvE and PvP. Knowing it was coming well ahead of time via the roadmap though was a huge bummer, especially given the secretive nature of the Corridors of Time puzzle. Prior to this event, anytime Bungie did something secret like this, it led to a surprising reward.
I understand the need for Bungie to market some new weapons to entice players to pick up the season and also communicate to players what they will get with their money.
I do also think though that most players could live with at least one of the two or three exotics added each season being redacted and leaving an element of surprise on the table if Bungie wanted to go that route.
