Piers Nivans was one of the new playable characters from Resident Evil 6, and his purpose was basically just to push Chris back into the zombie-killing action after the trauma of losing his team to a deadly virus.
Piers had a lot of potential in the early hours of that game and could’ve even been a successor of sorts to Chris, but unfortunately, his time was cut short as Capcom decided that they wanted to stick with Chris instead.
