While Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is a cheesy and glorious love letter to the ’80s and ’90s, its neon landscape and laser-shooting dinosaurs are at odds with the rest of the franchise’s realism. But, the game is technically canon, if you count being a movie within the Far Cry universe canon.
In Far Cry 5, the player can help film this cheese-fest. All players have to do is look for Guy Marvel (and put up with his arrogance), and they will be rewarded all the Blood Dragon references they could ever want.
