Batman: The Enemy Within – Episode 1 Story Summary

At the funeral, Tiffany is heartbroken over the death of her father and talks about how she never got to spend much time with him because he was always busy at Wayne Enterprises. When she asks Bruce whether he had anything to do with Lucius’ death, you can either lie to her or tell her the truth. If you tell the truth, Bruce’s relationship with her will become strained, and she’ll be distrustful of him.

Soon after, John Doe (who’s better known by us as Joker) shows up at the funeral looking for Bruce. He tells Bruce that he needs his help, and he wants him to meet some of his friends. Agreeing or denying him will result in a different reaction, which could potentially lead him to cause a scene during the funeral. John then makes mention of the Riddler, and talks about how he hates him. Bruce asks him for a lead on the Riddler, and John reveals that he has a hideout somewhere in the East End. John also promises to look out for more leads on his whereabouts.

Bruce then has the choice of either placing a tracker on John, or trusting him to come back with information.
