How to Use Photo Mode in Assassin’s Creed Origins

Recommended Videos

One of the most recent trends in video games is the inclusion of a photo mode. Granting players the ability to rid their screen of the HUD, mess with filters, and other photography settings, photo mode has been exceptionally well received and has had some great results. As such, it should come as no surprise that the beautiful Assassin’s Creed Origins also includes photo mode.

In order to use it, simply press L3 and R3 on your Xbox One or PS4 controller at the same time. The action should immediately stop and you’ll have the ability to mess with the image. You can move the camera around with the left and right analog sticks, as well as the d-pad, and flick through the 17 different filters with L1 or R1 (LB/ RB on Xbox One).

To actually capture the image in photo mode, simply press X on PS4 or A on Xbox One. This image is then saved to your console’s hard drive.

There are plenty of wonderful sights to see in Assassin’s Creed Origins’ Ancient Egypt, so be sure to make use of this mode to capture your favorite moments.

That’s all there is to it. For more on Assassin’s Creed Origins, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki guide.
