Takeaways From The Latest Spider-Man Trailer

It seems that there are dozens of combat choices that you can do in order to beat up the baddies. You can go the stealthy route, climbing up on construction beams and lift foes up using your web. You can also use environmental hazards like cranes and boxes to hit people with when you’re in a pinch as well. Spider-Man also has little web traps that he can place to stop enemies in their tracks.

Combat looks to be varied, while also taking a little bit of inspiration from Rocksteady’s Batman series. You can dodge enemy attacks using your Spidey Sense, waiting until the last moment to dodge and retaliate against your foe, just like how Batman counterattacked. Unlike Batman, Spider-Man doesn’t look like he plays as a heavy character at all; being light on his feet and having the aerial advantage over thugs throws in a lot of variety when it comes to fighting.
