Games We Hope Come Out in 2019

Although it was slated for 2019 when it was first unveiled, we haven’t gotten any news on a new Animal Crossing’s development since.

In the announcement trailer back in September of last year, viewers chatted with the beloved Tom Nook. The helpful Tanuki references the character Isabelle (soon after added to the Smash Bros. rosters) and mentions that he has a lot of work to do.

While there have been a few spin-off titles (the most recent in 2017 for iOS/Android), the last entry in the Animal Crossing main series was “New Leaf” back in 2012. Hopefully, we’ll get a (positive) update about a new Animal Crossing at the next Nintendo Direct. And hopefully, the next Nintendo Direct will be soon.
