While it’s something that we all pretty much figured out, it was made official tonight at the Marvel Studios panel at San Diego Comic-Con. Ego will be the guardian of one Mantis, played by Pom Klementieff, when she and him come across the Guardians. It’s going to be pretty awkward once Ego and Star-Lord meet, that’s for sure.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 comes to theaters on May 5, 2017.
