When the very first Fantastic Beasts movie aired in theaters, I certainly didn’t expect it to evolve into a whole franchise of its own with five whole movies. I mean, damn, I guess there’s a lot of story to be squeezed out of the Grindelwald saga. But hey, it’s happening, and the third installment in the series has just been officially unveiled.
Titled Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, the movie will air in theaters on April 15, 2022. This is, of course, a direct follow-up to the previous movie, The Crimes of Grindelwald. The audience was hit with a big revelation about Dumbledore’s past at the end of the movie, which raises a whole ton of questions about the iconic character, and hopefully we’ll get some satisfactory answers is this upcoming entry.
Eddie Redmayne will be reprising his role as main protagonist Newt Scamander, while Jude Law returns as young Albus Dumbledore during his famous conflict with Grindelwald.
