Yakuza Like a Dragon brings plenty of new features to the table, but at its core, its still very much a Yakuza game. Case in point: The game’s story is still split up into chapters, and will let you know when a new chapter has begun with a flashy title card. If you’re like most players though, you might be wondering: How many chapters are there in Yakuza Like a Dragon?
Fortunately for you, we’ve done the leg work and found the answers you’re looking for.
How Many Chapters Are There in Yakuza Like a Dragon? Answered
There are a total of 15 chapters in Yakuza Like a Dragon.
Each one is roughly three hours long, with the length varying based on how much side content you take part in, how much difficulty you have with certain bosses and so forth. Likewise, if you’re skipping past certain dialogue instead of listening attentively to it, the amount of time spent in each chapter can vary further.
This makes the game a bit longer than other entries in the series. However, this isn’t too surprising given the fact that it’s a JRPG instead of an action RPG.
Can You Replay Chapters?
As for whether or not you can replay chapters in Yakuza Like a Dragon, the answer is no.
At this time, there is no dedicated feature that allows you to pick and choose a chapter to play whenever you want. This is likely because players have full control over what level their characters are, what side quests they’ve completed and so forth, and trying to program the game around that would have been very difficult.
The closest alternative is to save your game at the start of each chapter. Doing so will allow you to revert to said save whenever you wish and replay whatever chapters you had the most fun with.
