Is Warhammer Vermintide 2 Single Player?

Recommended Videos

Warhammer Vermintide 2 puts players in the middle of the action. You and three other players will fight waves of rat-like enemies known as the Skaven. One of the game’s stronger points is its multiplayer mode. That said, some fans might be wondering if the game actually has a single player mode.

You can actually play the main game alone, but you will have three other AI companions with you during the game. You can clear the main quests just fine, especially once you get the hang of the game’s mechanics and whatnot. Don’t expect the AI to be perfect, however, since they have their own little quirks. On top of that, it’s definitely recommended that you play some the harder difficulty modes with real players. For the most part, at least, you can clear the game without having to worry about queuing up with others.

It’s worth noting that your AI companions will prioritize things like potions over Tomes, although they can carry around the said item. They’ll prioritize their health over everything else, hence their obsessions with healing items.
