This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information

Outriders, by People Can Fly, has finally arrived. If you’re a fan of intense, challenging, looter-shooter combat with a story-driven campaign that doesn’t feature live-service content, then you may have everything you’re looking for in this one. If you’re here, you’re probably wondering, though, if Outriders will be PS4 Pro and/or Xbox One X enhanced. Here’s what you need to know.

Is Outriders PS4 Pro Enhanced?

Good news if you’re a PS4 Pro owner: Outriders will feature PS4 Pro enhancements. This means you can expect the game to have better visuals, potentially better frame rates, and just increased performance overall for quality of life features such as load speed.

Outriders will also run even better on PS5 if you choose to eventually upgrade.

Is Outriders Xbox One X Enhanced?

Great news for Xbox One X owners as well. It too will be enhanced for owners of last-gen’s most powerful console. It will also have the opportunity to play with better visuals, performance across the board and will load a bit faster.

You can also upgrade to the Xbox Series X|S version if you ever make that jump in the future.

Regardless of what you decide to play Outriders on, you’ll be able to enjoy full cross-play across all platforms at all times. Sadly, though, there won’t be cross-save across ecosystems, you’ll need to stay within the same family of consoles for that one.

Both games will feature a roughly 30ish+ hour campaign that can be played completely co-op if you want to play with friends, or solo if you prefer that route.

Hopefully, this helped cleared things up on whether Outriders will be PS4 Pro and Xbox One X enhanced. If you’re still looking for more information on other areas of People Can Fly’s latest, be sure to check out our guide wiki.
