Moving Out may seem like a silly co-op game on the surface, but there are some intricacies involved that will shape your tactics in each level. You’ll need to move items to the truck in the right order and put them in the best places. So that you can get things like beds out of the way first, here’s everything you need to know about how to move heavy items in Moving Out.
It’s important to move heavy items to the truck first because they take up the most room. If you’ve already filled the truck up with cardboard boxes, you won’t be able to get the bed or sofas in. If you do it the other way round, you can throw the smaller items on top of the heavy ones.
How to Move Heavy Items in Moving Out
How you do so depends on how many people you’re playing with. If you’re playing on your own, you can move it on your own, you just move a little slowly with it and you can’t throw it.
However, when you’re playing with two or more people, you can’t move heavy items on your own. Instead, two people will have to grab it at once and work together to get it to the truck.
Thankfully, it is easy to see how many pairs of hands are needed for each item in a level. If you press triangle, little icons will appear over the top of everything you’re required to move to complete the level.
As you’ll see in the screenshot above, the icon has a little stick-figure in it, with the number of those indicating how many people are required to lift it. The best thing to do is to get into pairs and move all the heavy items first and then split up to get all the smaller ones quickly.
