How to Survive Radiation Level 3 in Mass Effect: Andromeda

Recommended Videos

Mass Effect: Andromeda’s planets are pretty dangerous to your alien self. The first one you’ll visit, Eos, will have Radiation Level 3 all over the place. This is particularly annoying if you’re trying to get a memory trigger that’s in the middle of nowhere. It’s not really possible to survive outside of the Nomad or Safe Zones with Radiation Level 3, as it manages to kill your life support in a short amount of time. However, it is possible to rid a planet of radiation altogether and make it hospitable.

All you need to do is basically follow along with the main story, as it will lead to you making an outpost in Eos. This will greatly lower the radiation. Over time, too, so you simply need to head back to the planet to eventually see it totally free of all that rad. This just requires you to leave, do some missions, keep checking back, and eventually you’ll reach any location that was previously too dangerous to walk around freely within. The planet is become far more inhabitable for the Milky Way colonists to take over!
