Is There Controller Support in Fortnite Mobile?

Recommended Videos

Fortnite has finally made its way to iOS devices, and soon Android devices, too. Players can finally leap down to the likes of Tilted Towers or Moisty Mire from the Battle Bus wherever they are now thanks to the mobile version. Of course, touchscreen controls aren’t always the best, especially in a fast-paced shooter such as Fortnite Battle Royale. As such, many players are wondering if Fortnite Mobile has controller support.

Currently, Fortnite Mobile has no support for Bluetooth controllers. However, when checking out the brief FAQ section for Fortnite Mobile over on Epic Games’ site, the development team did share that “Bluetooth controller support is coming later.” Exactly when that will be remains to be seen, but we’d hazard a guess that it’ll more than likely be once the Android version is out in the wild and both versions are running smoothly.

Considering Fortnite features cross-play with PC, Mac, iOS, and PS4 players, having controller support in the mobile version would certainly help to balance the playing field.

We’ll be sure to update this post once controller support is officially announced for Fortnite Mobile. In the meantime, be sure to check out our wiki for more tips, tricks, and information on the game.
