How Much the Fortnite Battle Pass Costs
Epic Games has certainly impressed us with the manner in which they keep finding new ways of making their free-to-play battle royale game, Fortnite, interesting. Dozens of new weapons, items, and tweaks to map have kept things fresh, but it is the awesome Battle Pass content, which has added progression to the experience, that has really transformed it. Now into its fifth season, the Battle Pass issues a host of challenges to players each week, tasking them with finding hidden objects, using certain weapons for kills, and even adding crazy mini-games to the map. The best part? There are tangible rewards such as new skins to be earned for completing each of them. Unsurprisingly, the Battle Pass has fast become a must-own feature for hardcore Fortnite players. But as the saying goes: the best things in, er, games don’t usually come free — and the Battle Pass is no different. Here’s how much the Fortnite Battle Pass Costs.
As has always been the case, the Battle Pass costs 950 V-Bucks. You’ll need to purchase this currency with real money and then unlock the Battle Pass from an in-game menu using V-Bucks. You can’t purchase it directly with real money, so you’ll need to buy a V-Buck bundle. The smallest bundle on offer is the 1000 package, which costs $10. That leaves you with 50 left over to start saving towards an in-game item, such as a skin, cosmetic, or the next season of the Battle Pass. Considering that you’ll likely unlock several skins as you progress through the season, the value is pretty decent (skins typically cost $20 or so each to purchase separately).
