How to Leave a Dungeon in Fire Emblem Echoes

Recommended Videos

Dungeons are a big change for Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, letting you take control of Alm or Celica and explore dank caverns and old ruins. These can be demanding experiences crawling with enemies, each of which takes you to a traditional Fire Emblem tactical battle. Fatigue can also set in, halving your unit’s health if you don’t fix it with healing items. Luckily, there’s a way to pull out of dungeons immediately if you’re too under-leveled or just want a way to make a quick exit.

At any time while exploring a dungeon in Fire Emblem Echoes, you can bring up the main menu and select the Evacuate option. This will allow you to instantly send any unit out, which is helpful if one of your units is overly fatigued and struggling in battle. Alternatively, you can also select to evacuate Alm or Celica, which will take you entirely out of the dungeon and back to the world map. Keep this in mind if you find yourself getting lost, or struggling to beat enemies and need to do a little bit of grinding.
