Is Dreams Coming to PC?

Recommended Videos

Dreams has been floating around for a while now. Coming from the creative minds behind LittleBigPlanet, this latest title is essentially a sandbox where you’re free to create your own levels, sculpting your own characters and structures as you go, before uploading them to be shared with other players. Similarly, you can download other players’ levels they’ve created in Dreams, but if you’d rather play content from the developers themselves, Dreams will also have three intertwined stories for players to unravel as they go. It’s certainly a unique premise, and with VR compatibility, too, some players may be wondering if Dreams is coming to PC.

After all, the PC currently has both the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, which could arguably offer an even more polished VR experience for players to experience Media Molecule’s latest creative sandbox experience. Unfortunately, at this moment in time, Dreams is not going to be coming to PC.

Not only is the game being published by Sony Interactive Entertainment itself, but developer Media Molecule has long been a first-party studio of Sony. Furthermore, PlayStation has made it clear that Dreams is exclusive to the PS4, by stating a ‘PlayStation Exclusives’ sticker on its official page.

While this may come as disappointing news to some PC players, there are still plenty of quality, immersive experiences for PC VR owners to dive into, regardless of which headset you have.

If anything changes pertaining to the game coming to the PC, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know. We wouldn’t get our hopes up if we were you, mind, as it seems highly unlikely that we’ll see a first-party title make its way onto another platform outside of the PlayStation ecosystem.

That’s all you need to know regarding whether or not Dreams is coming to PC. For more tips, tricks, and information on everything video games, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
