Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2: All Ultimate Attacks

This article is over 7 years old and may contain outdated information

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 allows you to customize your very own created Time Patroller to push back the enemies trying to change the Dragon Ball timeline. Of course, in order to be able to duke it out with the very best of them, you’re going to need some powerful abilities. Thankfully, there are quite a few ultimate attacks in the game that can help you put a dent in the enemy forces.

Ultimate attacks are broken up into three categories – Other, Strike, and Ki Blast – that help to distinguish how each one performs. You’ll start out with a couple of simple ones, but the rest must be either purchased, taught by an instructor, or earned from Parallel Quests. Once you have one of these ultimate attacks, you can equip them by customizing your character through the pause menu while outside of a quest or battle.

The category with the least amount of skills is other, so we’ll kick things off with those:

Ultimate Attacks – Other

These are skills that aren’t attacks and therefore don’t fall under the normal offensive categories.

  • Body Change – Switches bodies with your opponent. Can only be used in 1-on-1 battles.
  • Energy Zone – Creates an energy field that heals allies.
  • The Savior Has Come – Draws the attention of all enemies.

Ultimate Attacks – Strike

Strike abilities are melee abilities, although some skills combine a melee combo with a blast finish. Every skill that falls under this category requires proximity to connect, but the plus side is that they trigger relatively quickly when compared to the other categories. Mixing these into a combo can often lead to devastating effects for your opponent that aren’t very easy to dodge.

  • Blue Hurricane
  • Burning Spin
  • Darkness Rush (Melee) – Can’t be used by Namekians.
  • Darkness Rush (Ranged) – Can only be used by Namekians.
  • Death Meteor
  • Dragon Fist
  • Justice Combination
  • Paralysis
  • Spirit Sword
  • Super Elite Combo
  • Time Skip/Molotov
  • Unrelenting Barrage
  • Victory Rush

Ultimate Attacks – Ki Blast

Ki Blast skills are energy-based attacks that are either beams, small explosions, large explosions, or clusters of energy blasts. More often than not, these are meant for long-rage assault, although there are a few exceptions that are best used up close (sort of like a shotgun). Due to their nature, these are the easiest to dodge for the most part, but using them on a stunned enemy will yield the best results. The most powerful abilities in the game fall under this category, so choose wisely.
