Urrox Falls in the Prison of Elders
Now that you have your setup and arena management all situated, it’s time to take down the boss himself. There are two specific things to note about Urrox, the first is that he has no shield, and the second is that he has a ridiculous amount of health. There’s a good chance that he has more health than anyone you’ve faced in Destiny up until this point, so be prepared for a long fight.
As mentioned before, there are a lot of adds that should be taken out first. Two guardians is more than enough to handle that task, while the person with the strongest weapon should focus solely on this Prison of Elders boss. Once the additional enemies are dispatched, everyone should focus on Urrox with their heavy weapons if they have them or whatever their hardest hitting weapon is. Stay locked onto him until he grows angry and starts to burn the floor.
Once the floor starts burning do not shoot at all. Shooting causes a guardian to fall faster unless you have a Sunsinger Warlock with the Angel of Light perk (it allows the Warlock to hover in the air while aiming for a short time). The primary focus should be on staying alive. After the ten seconds are up, repeat the above steps until victory. If you’re a Prison of Elders pro, you could have two members focus on Urrox while one person covers the sides. But, if you notice they are struggling, switch back to one person on Urrox and two people watching the sides. It will take longer, but it is a much easier experience.
After a few rounds of the-floor-is-lava, victory will be obtained and your fireteam can claim its spoils from the Crystal Barrow beneath the Prison of Elders.
