Smokingbear Studio and Thermite Games’ deck-building rogue-like Castle Morihisa is finally out in the wild, and while it feels a wee bit too much like Slay The Spire to be a genre classic, there’s still a whole lot of dungeon-crawling fun to be had. From the outset, players will have access to two out of the four characters on offer: the Monk and the Onymoji. How to Unlock the Samurai in Castle Morihisa

To unlock the Samurai in Castle Morihisa, you’ll need to beat the game once. That means you’ll have to complete one whole run before you can use the Samurai.

One run of Castle Morihisa entails beating all three levels, which includes three bosses as well. This should take you around an hour to complete, but the time may vary from person to person.

Thankfully, the default difficulty setting of your first playthrough shouldn’t be too hard. Every time you beat a run for the first time, you’ll unlock a higher difficulty setting. You only need to complete a run on the ‘easiest’ difficulty setting to unlock the Samurai.

How to Unlock the Ninja in Castle Morihisa

To unlock the Ninja in Castle Morihisa, you’ll need to beat the game twice. That means you’ll have to complete two whole runs before you can use the Ninja.

This should take around two hours to complete, but the time may vary from person to person.

Bear in mind that you only need to beat both runs on the default ‘easy’ difficulty setting to unlock the Ninja. Thankfully, you don’t need to do it on the harder difficulty settings.
