The Bachelor 2018: Who Arie Luyendyk Gets Engaged to in the Finale

Who Arie Luyendyk Gets Engaged to in The Bachelor 2018 Finale

The Bachelor is currently in its 22nd season, focusing on 36-year-old former Formula One driver Arie Luyendyk Jr. and his quest to find his one true love. The season is quickly coming to head with the two-part finale airing next week. Though we will have to wait until then to know who Arie Luyendyk gets engaged to in the finale, there are some rumors doing the rounds as to who he may have already picked. At this point, I’d like to give you your first and only warning that the information below may contain spoilers for The Bachelor season 22’s finale. Okay, still with us? Let’s dive in.

Last week’s show saw viewers say goodbye to Kendall Long, leaving just Lauren Burnham and Becca Krupin as the finalists in The Bachelor 2018, with one heavily rumored to win. According to Reality Steve, that answer is…Lauren. According to his sources, Arie actually called Lauren on the night of the premiere, odd given that he is assumed to be engaged to someone else. Further backing up these rumors that Arie will, in fact, break off an engagement to go be with Lauren, is a post on a private ABC Facebook group from someone claiming to be Lauren’s next door neighbor. The post, which you can see in Reality Steve’s article shows ABC filming trucks outside her house in Virginia and claims that both Arie and Lauren were there.

After gathering a few more sources, the article concludes with the revelation that ‘Arie ended his engagement with Becca a little over a week ago and is now dating Lauren. That’s why he was in Virginia last week at Lauren’s parents’ house.

So there you have it, based on these rumors, Arie will choose Becca before subsequently breaking off the engagement and going after Lauren instead. This would mark a first for the series if true, so it’s certainly exciting to think about. We’ll have to wait until next Tuesday to find out for sure.
