Whether you’re a new or a veteran AG player, you’ll definitely be wondering what the meta is right now. Well, we’ve tested all the units in the game, ranking them from best to worst. Scroll down to see the results in our ultimate Anime Guardians tier list.
Anime Guardians Units Tier List
The units are ranked relative to their rarity. So, a really bad mythic unit can be in the same tier as an epic. Still, it’s good to use those bad mythics if you’ve got nothing better, as their base stats are just straight-up better than those of the lower-rarity units.
S+ Tier Anime Guardians Units
- Kafla (Overpower) — Fully upgraded Evo Kafka has a map-wide full AoE attack that is multi-hit, making him perfect for dealing with shields. He is one of the most meta units right now.
- Sai — Saitama still doesn’t have an evolution, but nevertheless, he is by far the strongest unit in Anime Guardians. He is full AoE, multi-hit, and has very high damage on each attack. Acquiring him should be your number one priority right now.
- Sung (Shadow Monarch) — Shadow Monarch SJW is basically a regular SJW on steroids. His summons are OP, and he is also full AoE with a low cooldown and massive multi-hit damage.
- Bolm — Bulma is Osto on steroids. She is the best farm unit currently in the game, and you’ll need her to get those high scores.
S Tier Anime Guardians Units
- Ichongo (Vasto Lorde) — Vasto Lorde is better at dealing with shields than True Bankai. However, only two attacks aren’t that great. Still, the evo stats do make him meta.
- Ichongo (True Bankai) — True Bankai has a higher DPS than the Vasto Lorde. However, it doesn’t deal with shields as well. If you already have something with multi-hit but lack damage, he might be the better option.
- Aozort (Lord Arc) — Lord Aizen is the meta slow unit right now. Plus, his DPS is solid, and he is also a hybrid.
- Aozort (Hollow Form) — Hollow Aizen is a full AoE DPS monster. He is one of the best mythic units in Anime Guardians right now.
- Alon (Demon Lord) — Demon Lord Alon has very high damage, reasonably low SPA, and multi-hit. The only thing that isn’t great is his range. Nevertheless, he is one of the strongest units in the game right now.
A Tier Anime Guardians Units
- Satalan — Satalan has a high damage-low cooldown AoE attack. However, she still doesn’t have an evolution, making it hard to place her in the same tier as evo units.
- Rimosu — Rimuru is good for dealing with shields because of his multi-hit attack. However, he still doesn’t have an evolution, making him a bad unit to roll for unless you’re just starting out.
- Sung — Sung Jinwoo is a high-DPS summon unit. His evolution is just too strong, making him a top-priority unit to get on the banner.
- Ichongo (Bankai) — Bankai Ichigo is basically an upgraded version of epic Ichigo. Both of his evolutions are amazing, and he is one of the few mythics you absolutely must roll for when he is on the banner.
- Aozort — Aizen is one of the best non-evo mythics right now. He can stun enemies, which provides your other towers with more time to DPS. Plus, both of his evolutions are meta right now.
- Kafla — Kafka has an almost map-wide multi-hit AoE attack. He is just great for soloing any game mode. Also, his evolution is broken. The only thing bad about him is that he can’t target flying enemies.
- Alon (Phase1) — Alon has a huge AoE attack with a very big range and burn. He can even cover the whole map in some stages. Plus, his evolution is just broken, making him a priority on the banner.
B Tier Anime Guardians Units
- Miwalk — Mihawk can hit flying units when upgraded, which is useful if you don’t have a hill unit at all. He is just a really solid, low-cost, low-dps unit you can use in the early waves.
- Susuna — When fully upgraded, Sukuna burns enemies hit with his attack. He also has a higher base DPS than Gojo. However, because he has no evo yet, there is little need to roll for him right now.
- Gogo — Gojo is a good round starter because of his low cost and full AoE. When fully upgraded, he has a very low cooldown, high base damage, and high range. Also, he is a hybrid, meaning he can hit flying enemies. However, the lack of evo makes him a questionable investment right now.
- Fleeren — Frieren is a fairly good hill unit. Her damage is solid, and she can hit flying units on spawn. However, with all the new hybrid units being added, she seems redundant.
- Beauty — Beauty is one of the very few hill units in Anime Guardians. You’ll need her to deal with flying enemies, but besides that, she can’t compete with units in the higher tiers.
- Rudy — Despite being a hill unit, Rudy can’t hit flying enemies. I can’t see him being used much right now. Still, his stats are better than those of lower-rarity units.
- Osto — Osto is a farm unit that can work on only upgrade two. He’ll help you accelerate your upgrades and clear harder story missions a bit easier.
C Tier Anime Guardians Units
- Mish — Mish is even worse than Rem, but he is still a mythic. So, use him if you have absolutely nothing better.
- Rom — For some reason, Rem is almost always on the banner despite her being one of the worst mythics in the game. Both the range and the damage on her AoE skill are just too low for her to be competitive right now.
- Emilian — Emilia can slow down, and she is full AoE when upgraded. She is a really solid starter overall.
- Ichongo — Ichigo is an epic with full AoE and a solid DPS. He is the best starter you can use in Anime Guardians.
- Kilu — Killua is the best starter rare unit. He has a high-damage attack with massive AoE when fully upgraded. Plus, his ability has a low cooldown.
D Tier Anime Guardians Units
- Subaro — Subaro is a single-target DPS that can attack in quick succession. However, his DPS is plain garbage.
- Natshi — Natshi is a hill version of Kilu with more range. However, he has a longer cooldown and lower DPS.
