Immersive Dogmeat

Fallout 4 is home to many interesting and quirky followers, but none come close to looking as adorable as Dogmeat. This dog is one of the many companions you’ll meet along your journey, and while he might not be the best, he’ll follow you to the ends of the Commonwealth. If you’ve ever wanted a better version of Dogmeat, this mod tweaks a few things and makes him one of the best companions you can have in Fallout 4. Here are a few changes from the mod:

  • Dogmeat is now virtually undetectable while sneaking, to make him less of a burden and more of a tactical attack dog.
  • Dogmeat is now smarter about his engagements. He will never initiate combat first, only when he or the player is attacked.
  • If attacked, Dogmeat will evaluate the attacker correctly. If the target is stronger than Dogmeat (Sentry bot, Mirelurk Queen, Boss, Etc.) he will avoid combat with that target.

Immersive Molotov

Another “immersive” Fallout 4 mod, this one fixes the molotov cocktail for better tactical use and real explosion values. Firstly, the explosive has been overhauled to be much more realistic, with targets suffering from energy damage to emulate burning skin. Moreover, foes will also scream and flee when they are on fire, because honestly, who would keep shooting when they’re being roasted alive? The blast radius has also been tweaked and they leave real light when they explode, among the other nifty changes.

Infinite Ammo

Whether it’s Call of Duty or Fallout 4, infinite ammo will always be one of the best cheats in any shooter game. With this mod, you can bring the infinite ammo over to the Commonwealth and never have to worry about an empty gun ever again. Whenever you empty your magazine, you have an infinite number of bullets in your inventory. It’s worth noting that this mod will make the game incredibly easier, but at least you won’t have to worry about running out of resources.

Mine and Trap Detector

Don’t you just hate it when you’re walking along a path and suddenly die because of a random mine? Or when you find yourself in a sticky situation because a trap wait waiting for you just around the corner. If you’re sick of these all-too-familiar scenarios, this Fallout 4 mod adds a mine and trap detector. As the name implies, you’ll be alerted if there are any mines or traps laying around. This Fallout 4 mod comes with two variants:

  • A simple mine detector which beeps faster when you get closer to a mine.
  • A High-tech Mine detector. This one beeps too. It also highlights mines in detection range red. This one can be upgraded to also detect various traps like tripwires.

Synths Revamped

Synths are some of the many different creatures living in the Commonwealth and are known for their sleek, metallic bodies. Adding this Fallout 4 mod to the game overhauls their appearance, giving them new 4K textures for their face, body, eyes, and even teeth. Applying this new coat of textures makes them look like something out of Bicentennial Man. Also, they can give you a pretty good spook if you run into one in a dark area.

Unique NPCs – Creatures and Monsters of the Commonwealth

The Commonwealth is a dangerous area filled with all sorts of dangerous monsters. There’s no shortage of creatures just waiting to kill you, although for all their differences, each type always comes in the same shape and form. If you want to mix up how each and every monster looks like in Fallout 4, this mod comes complete with different sizes and body types for each species. Statues HD

This is a simple yet effective mod that overhauls all of the statues in Fallout 4. These structures have been redefined and designed with better textures and details, giving them an old and weathered look. The mod certainly adds a better sense of atmosphere in the game and is perfect for those who love to role-play. Not to mention, it’s also a great way to spruce up the Commonwealth if you’ve seen everything there is in the open world.
