Thronebreaker The Witcher Tales feels every bit a part of the Witcher universe thanks to quality writing and some superb voice acting performances. Here, we’re taking a detailed look at the cast behind the voices.

1. Timothy Watson – Narrator

Timothy Watson is a voice actor with an extensive history of performances in the video game industry. He’s been involved with multiple AAA productions, including Dragon Age Origins, Xenoblade Chronicles, and Ni No Kuni 2 to name a few. He plays the role of the narrator in Thronebreaker, and what a superb job he does.

2. Lucy Black – Meve

As far as we can tell, Lucy Black hasn’t lent her voice talent to a video game before, but after her exceptional performance as Meve in Thronebreaker, we’re hoping she sticks around. Black is best known for British television performances in shows such as The Durrells, Jericho, Casualty, and Hoby City.

3. Liam Garrigan – Gascon

British actor Liam Garrigan’s performance as Gascon is his first role in the video game industry, but he draws on an impressive resume. His most notable work includes playing Alred in Pillars of the Earth, and Arthur in Transformers: The Last Night

4. Anthony Howell – Ardal aep Dahy

Anthony Howell is an English actor with an extensive amount of experience in the video game industry. He’s most recently voiced Dr. Reid in Dontnod’s Vampyr, but he’s also had roles in AAA productions like Horizon Zero Dawn and Battlefield 1. Howell has also played various roles on-screen, too, such as in Medici: Masters of Florence. He plays two roles in Thronebreaker: Ardal aep Dahy & Eyck of Denesle.

5. Clare Corbett – Villem

Meve’s traitorous son Villem is played by Clare Corbett, a British actress best known for her substantial body of voice acting work in the video game industry. Her resume includes titles like Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom, Battlefield V, and Dark Souls.

6. David Rintoul – Brouver Hoog

Another Game of Thrones actor plays a role in Thronebreaker. Scottish-born David Rintoul starred briefly in the popular HBO production as the mad king, Aerys Targaryen, but he’s most substantial roles include Stranger in The Ghost, and Admiral Fieldhouse in The Iron Lady. Rintoul has voiced in a long list of video games, too, like the Warhammer: Vermentide games, Warhammer: 40,000, and Total War series.

7. Matthew Gravelle – Barnabas Beckenbaur

Matthew Gravelle is an award-winning animator, actor, and lecturer based in Cardiff, Wales. You might recognize his portrait from his role as Jim Miller in Broadchurch, and his voice from video games like Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom, Hitman 2, and Forza 4.

8. Susan Brown – Isbel of Hagge

If you’re a Game of Thrones fan then you’ll recognize Susan Brown as Septa Mordane. Brown has also performed roles in other notable productions, such as Sue Myers in The Walking Dead, and Liz Roper in Broadchurch. Her video game industry experience includes Everybodies Gone to the Rapture and LittleBigPlanet 3. In Thronebreaker she plays Isbel of Hagge, a powerful sorceress.
