15. Assassin’s Creed Rogue – 27.2 mile²

Assassin’s Creed Rogue might have effectively been a spin-off designed for previous generation consoles, but it was no less grand in scale. As a sequel to Black Flag, the lineage from that beloved game is clear.

There’s a big emphasis on naval combat and maritime exploration, this time in the North Atlantic.

Ultimately, that means another whopping map. It’s not quite on the scale of Black Flag, but it’s still respectable.

Thanks once again to Senningrini_GR over on the Ubisoft forums for measuring the maps.

The quoted size we’ve listed here includes all three areas of the game: North Atlantic, River Valley, and New York.
