Ever since Atlus launched the 25th anniversary website for the series a few days back, fans have been speculating that maybe a brand new Shin Megami Tensei game was on the way. Not only that, the timing of the website’s launch also lined up perfectly with the Nintendo Switch event, so maybe the new game would be coming to the Switch too. All that speculation turned out to be 100% true, and Atlus announced a new SMT project for the console.

The short teaser trailer gave us a glimpse of a dark and gritty modern Tokyo setting (or what looks like Tokyo), as well as a look at some of the demons present in the game. Jack Frost is in there, obviously.
