With a fantastic soundtrack and clean pixel art-style, Owlboy is one of the best indie games on the Switch that just screams nostalgia. An old-school platformer full of dungeons, an engaging narrative, and some light combat is what makes Owlboy a perfect fit for any younger gamer.

Now that the Switch has been out for a year, there are tons of indie games to discover on the eShop, but Owlboy is the one to play if you’ve been craving some retro-styled gameplay that is truly unique that also caters to all ages. The bosses in the dungeons might be a tad difficult for some, but Owlboy oozes with so much charm that it’ll be worth the challenge for any player.
