There is no doubt that Capcom is going to be at E3 2019, as the company has a ridiculous amount of momentum behind them this year. With two Game of the Year contenders already, the Resident Evil 2 remake and Devil May Cry 5, it is only logical to keep fans excited for the foreseeable future with further big announcements at this year’s show.

What announcements would make Capcom worthy of a top spot though? Considering how much everyone loved Resident Evil 7: Biohazard last year and the Resident Evil 2 remake this year, more Resident Evil content is sure to please fans.

First, there is the possibility of a Resident Evil 3 remake, which has been teased for a while now. Considering the success of the RE2 remake, and its Nemesis-like villain (Mr. X), a remake of the third title in the franchise is almost a foregone conclusion.

There have also been talks of a Resident Evil 8 reveal this year, continuing the soft reboot the company introduced with the Resident Evil 7. While there isn’t much information out there yet, speculation points to a possible return to third-person for the next installment.

Last but not least, Monster Hunter has brand new DLC coming out, which would be a great supplemental piece to go alongside all of the possible. Resident Evil news.
