The Umbrella Academy Reveals New Season 3 Character Posters

Season 3 is on its way!

The Umbrella Academy

Today, Netflix unveiled seven new character portraits for season 3 of its original series, The Umbrella Academy. In the image, each character appears with their back to the screen, with some unique differences here and there.

You can check them out for yourself right here.

The Umbrella Academy is based on the 2007 Dark Horse Comics series, which follows a group of adopted siblings that are brought together for their unique superpowers. It’s been a long time since they’ve all been together, though, as their harsh upbringing under billionaire Reginald Hargreeves has frayed their relationships.

The first two seasons documents the siblings coming back together, and the chaos that it causes. For anyone that needs a quick reminder of the events of season two, check out the official synopsis below:

Five warned his family (so, so many times) that using his powers to escape from Vanya’s 2019 apocalypse was risky. Well, he was right – the time jump scatters the siblings in time in and around Dallas, Texas. Over a three year period. Starting in 1960. Some, having been stuck in the past for years, have built lives and moved on, certain they’re the only ones who survived.

Five is the last to land, smack dab in the middle of a nuclear doomsday, which – spoiler alert! – turns out is a result of the group’s disruption of the timeline (déjà vu, anyone?). Now the Umbrella Academy must find a way to reunite, figure out what caused doomsday, put a stop to it, and return to the present timeline to stop that other apocalypse. All while being hunted by a trio of ruthless Swedish assassins. But seriously, no pressure or anything.

Currently, The Umbrella Academy Season 3 doesn’t have a release date. You’ll simply have to check back to Twinfninite for more updates on the next installment in the series as they are revealed.
