How Long Moss Is & How Many Chapters There Are

Recommended Videos

Moss has finally arrived on PlayStation VR, tasking players with accompanying the adorable mouse Quill on a journey to stop the spread of evil. You’ll interact with objects to create a safe form of passage for Quill through maze-like levels, immobilize enemies for her to land the finishing blow on, and find yourself immersed in a stunning fantasy world. Of course, with the relatively short length of VR games so far, some players may be wondering just how long Moss is, and how many chapters it’s split over.

Unfortunately, Moss is a fairly short experience, coming in at about four hours. While this is fairly standard for VR games at the moment, it comes to a close just as things are beginning to really get going. You can probably add an hour or two to this time if you go searching for all of the Forgotten Fragments scattered around the world.

The game’s story is told in seven chapters, the names of which we’ve listed below. If you’re wanting to enjoy Moss completely spoiler-free, you may want to turn back now.

  • The Clearing
  • Leaving Home
  • The Mire Temple
  • Last Respite
  • The Abandoned City
  • Sarffog’s Domain
  • The Castle

That’s all you need to know about how long Moss is and how many chapters its duration is split over. For more on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
