Sniper Elite 4: How to Throw Stick Grenades

Stick Grenade – Sniper Elite 4

While Sniper Elite 4 is primarily a stealth oriented experience, the game does allow you to utilize a multitude of other flashier approaches when playing it. As such, alongside your trusty sniper rifle, you also have access to a sidearm and an SMG in the game. But the most devastating tools in your arsenal are without a doubt your traps and grenades, and boy are they loud.

Not only do Stick Grenades allow you to take out large numbers of enemies in one fell swoop, they also act as very effective sources of noise to distract them. To use them simply go into your weapon wheel and select them from the bottom of the menu. Then press and hold the item use button (R1 on PS4, RB on Xbox One) to display the throw arc on the screen, and then release the button to actually throw it. It’s that simple.

One thing to note is that just like most other items in Sniper Elite 4, Stick Grenades also have an alternative function. When selecting them from your weapon wheel, you can choose to switch them to Adhesive mode by pressing the button prompt available in the center of the screen.

When thrown in this mode, the grenades will stick to any surface they touch, allowing for some fantastic kill cams as you latch one onto the enemies themselves.
