Every time you take a FIFA break, another card appears. Sometimes, more themed-based objectives sneak in. With that in mind, it appears as though the EFL Championship is getting in on the action. So we’re back to break down how to complete the Christian Kabasele EFL Championship Foundations Objectives in FIFA 23.
FIFA 23 Christian Kabasele Foundations Guide
Completing these objectives will unlock not only a special Kabasele CB but pacey winger Scott Twine and almost just as pacey fullback Jamie Shackleton. For those looking to build a solid Championship-based squad, this is your in. Combining these rewards with a Chris Willock Rulebreaker SBC only adds to the fun.
If nothing else, it’s nice to be able to get some of these useful yet perhaps underappreciated cards without having to invest too much in the way of in-game currency.
To start, it takes a little bit of menu hopping to access, but simply go from Home > Objectives > Milestones > Squad Foundations: EFL Championship, and you’re there. It is the second of two EFL-themed objectives listed, and like our previous Liga Portugal tasks, they can be done in any order. If you’re efficient, you may even be able to check off multiple requirements at once.
They follow below, as well as the (untradeable) rewards you get for accomplishing each. As you’ll continue to learn through these, one slate of objectives requires playing through the Managerial Masterpiece FUT Friendly while the other simply asks to grind a little bit of Squad Battles. Without further ado, let’s get to it.
Team Plays [Reward: Squad Foundations Twine]
Simply assist 4 goals using EFL Championship players in Squad Battles (or Rivals) on Semi-Pro difficulty or higher; any players, that is. So, for instance, the assists don’t have to come strictly from midfielders.
EFL Goals [Reward: Gold Pack]
Score 10 goals using EFL Championship players in Squad Battles (or Rivals) on Semi-Pro difficulty or higher. Does that seem fairly straightforward? That’s because it is! Once again, there is no position requirement for this.
Game Day [Reward: Small Gold Players Pack]
Finally, we arrive at our first ‘minimum players from one league’ requirement. Simply play 20 matches in Squad Battles (or Rivals) on Semi-Pro difficulty or higher with at least 7 EFL Championship players in your Starting XI. You do not have to win 20 of them, you just have to play 20. Sure it’s a bit tedious, but you also have about three months to complete these objectives.
Perfect Eight [Reward: Squad Foundations Shackleton]
And lastly, a ‘match win’ requirement enters the chat. Now you’ll have to win 8 matches in Squad Battles (or Rivals) on Semi-Pro difficulty or higher with at least 7 EFL Championship players in your Starting XI.
So there you have it, everything necessary to complete the Christian Kabasele EFL Championship Foundations Objectives in FIFA 23. We say the rewards are worth the grind this time around, and if you’re looking for more in-game tips, you’ve come to the right place.
