Ubisoft’s Riders Republic will give players a huge open world playground to wingsuit, dirtbike, ski and snowboard to their heart’s content alongside 49 other players online. It’s more or less the spiritual successor of 2016’s Steep and even better, players can get a chance to check out the game ahead of its official release thanks to the closed beta taking place over the next couple of days. Here’s how to play the Riders Republic closed beta on PS4/ PS5, Xbox One/ Series X|S and PC.
How to Get Access to Riders Republic Beta
To play the Riders Republic beta, you’ll first need to register and sign up over on the official website here.
After clicking the ‘Register Now’ button, you’ll need to select your preferred platform and then sign into your Ubisoft account.
Then, it’s simply a case of crossing your fingers and hoping for the best. Ubisoft is randomly selecting players who register to get a chance to play the Riders Republic beta while it’s live from August 23 – August 25.
If you registered for the closed beta months ago, be sure to check the email address associated with your Ubisoft account. You should have received an invitation to redeem your beta code, among some other important information.
Those lucky enough to get access to the closed beta will then need to click a link in an email and agree to the terms and conditions of the beta before receiving a code specific to their platform of choice.
Then, all you need to do is enter the code on your PC, Xbox One/ Series X|S, PS4/ PS5 and let the download complete. Once it’s done, you’ll be able to hop in and check out Ubisoft’s open world snow, dirt and mud shredding experience.
Whether or not it’s too late to sign up remains to be seen, but fingers crossed there will be an open beta window before the game’s official release on October 28 where all players can check the game out without having to register.
When Does the Closed Beta End?
Currently, Ubisoft has only announced that the Riders Republic closed beta will run from August 23-25. As such, it appears as though you’ll be able to enjoy the beta until 11:59pm on August 25 in your time zone.
