Fortnite: How to Get The Flash Skin

If you’ve been following the most recent leaks from the latest Fortnite update, you might have heard that The Flash is set to join the existing cast of DC characters in the world of Fortnite very soon. While it’s likely the skin will come to the Item Shop eventually, it looks like there will be another way to get the Flash skin in Fortnite for free, and earlier than its Item Shop debut.

How to Get The Flash in Fortnite

Judging by current leaks, Fortnite will also be hosting a competitive mode called The Flash Cup soon.

The Flash Cup will grant players the chance to earn and unlock The Flash in Fortnite early for free by performing well in the competition. This isn’t the first time this has happened, with the Venom, Ghost Rider and Black Widow Cups hosted during Season 4 offering up the skins of their name-givers.

When Will The Flash Cup Start?

Currently, there has been no official announcement regarding Fortnite’s Flash Cup. However, dataminer iFireMonkey claims that the Flash Cup will start on Feb. 10.

As soon as we do hear something, however, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know.

Can You Buy The Flash Skin?

Yes, the DC superhero will also eventually come to the Item Shop after its debut in The Flash Cup.

It will likely cost around 1,500-2,000 V-Bucks if we were to take a guess, based on the price of previous licensed skins such as Black Widow.
