A few days ago, the local branch of Pearl Abyss published a music video featuring the song “Mata Koko de Aimashou” by the super popular Japanese J-pop and rock band GLAY, and it certainly caused a buzz.

The video was viewed one million times in 48 hours, and today it has reached nearly 2.5 million views, which certainly isn’t bad for a YouTube channel that counts less than 8,000 subscribers.

Today the Japanese arm of Pearl Abyss reached out with a press release announcing that the game just broke its record for simultaneous connections, which certainly isn’t anything to sneeze at five years after its local launch.

You can watch the video below. The song “Mata Koko de Aimashou” is from the 2002 album with the same title, so it may prove rather nostalgic for those familiar with GLAY’s music.

Of course, Black Desert is also playable in the west for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Recently, Pearl Abyss updated the console versionsadding cross-play.

A mobile version dubbed Black Desert Mobile is also available for iOS and Android.

He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
