How to Complete Eyes on the Moon in Destiny 2

Your first instinct is to jump right into the Vex Offensive which takes place on the Moon now that it is unlocked in Destiny 2… but not so fast. You have to complete a few quest steps first.

The first thing you have to do is speak to Ikora on the Tower. Then, you’ll need to participate in a Vex Invasion Zone public event. Participating in this event one way or the other is what will progress your quest to have completed Eyes on the Moon.

To participate in this Vex Invasion Zone public event, you want to hang around one of the areas marked on the map. Pick one that has a regular public event coming as in our experience, that means the Vex one will follow up shortly after.

It may not spawn exactly where the public event is but the Vex Invasion is hard to miss. A massive Vex warp in will take place and fill up the sky head there and start killing them. Once you have completed the event (win or lose, you’ll need to talk to Eris and that will complete Eyes on the Moon.

You can now launch Vex Offensive from the director on the Moon.
