You can equip four main weapons at any time in Daemon X Machina, along with a shoulder weapon and an auxiliary weapon, so you have plenty of options. There are two ways of getting more weapons.
Searching Downed Arsenals
The best, and main, way of getting new weapons is by searching enemy Arsenals that you shoot down, and you’ll want to make sure you always do it.
Any time you shoot down an Arsenal an icon will appear on your map where the wreck is; it looks like a red pyramid with an exclamation point.
Simply walk up to the wreck and press A to search the Arsenal. A short list will then pop up with the equipment you can loot, and you can choose one item from the list to obtain.
By searching Arsenals, you can acquire new main weapons, various pieces of armor, auxillary weapons, and more.
This is really the only way of getting brand new weapons that you don’t already have, so like we said before, make sure you’re always searching downed enemies.
Developing New Weapons
The other option for getting new weapons is to use the console in your hangar and select the Factory option.
